ACAMH Awards 2024 Results
The Children and Young People’s Primary Care Mental Health Service were delighted to achieve Highly Commended in the category of the ACAMH Team Award (Lionel Hersov Memorial Award) demonstrating the use of research into clinical practice.
ACAMH Awards recognise high quality work in the field of child and adolescent mental health. To be nominated for an ACAMH Award is a prestigious recognition of those who are at the forefront of the advancement of child and adolescent mental health research, and practice.
The ‘team’ all worked together to support the use of a Parent Led Cognitive Behaviour Therapy intervention for children presenting with anxiety aged 5-12 years. The clinicians supported parents and carers to access the evidence based Online Support Intervention (OSI).
Clinicians involved in this research study demonstrated a responsiveness to new ideas with a united, enthusiastic, and positive attitude with the aim to learn and offer effective, quality patient care.
