  • North of England Refugee Service
    • Supports asylum seekers and refugees who have arrived or have settled in the North of England. Their integration service provides support to those granted refugee status and leave to remain to help them rebuild lives in the UK. Support includes help with immediate needs, such as housing and finance, and also longer-term needs, such as finding educational and employment opportunities.

  • Action Foundation
    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Provides support to disadvantaged refugees, asylum seekers, and other migrants across the North East. Through their supported housing, InterAction Drop-in and casework service, Language and Learning and Young Lives projects, they aim to plug a gap in existing provision. The foundation currently forms part of the offer at South Tyneside Asylum Seekers and Refugees Church Help (STARCH) which offers a weekly drop-in service on Tuesdays, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
