Feeling the "January blues" is completely normal following the excitement of Christmas!

Adults go back to work, children go back to school and it is easy to feel fed up. The weather is normally miserable and the nights are dark.

What can you do to feel better?

 

  • Active Adventures: Go for a walk, bike ride, or visit a local park to break up the day.
  • Winter Scavenger Hunt: Make a list to spot frosty leaves, robins, or puddles.
  • Nature Trail: Explore a local trail to get moving. 
  • Cooking Together: Make cakes, soup or have a DIY pizza night to boost moods and skills.
  • Creative Arts: Paint, draw or make things!
  • Game Time: Use board games, puzzles, or cards to reduce screen time.
  • Cozy Routine: Create a relaxing evening routine with reading or listening to music.
