Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week

This year’s theme is “Action” — reminding us that even the smallest positive step can make a big difference to our wellbeing.

Mental Health Awareness Week | Mental Health Foundation

As SATs and GCSE season begins, we want every young person to remember:

  • You are more than a test score

  • It’s okay to ask for help

  • Trying your best is enough

  • Rest is productive too

  • Your feelings matter

To our amazing Year 6 pupils preparing for SATs 📚Take one question at a time, breathe deeply, and believe in yourself. You have worked so hard and should feel proud of how far you’ve come.

To our Year 11 students facing GCSEs ✏️Exams are important, but so is your wellbeing. Make time for breaks, sleep, movement, and talking to someone you trust when things feel overwhelming.

✨ Positive actions for this week:

   * Check in with a friend
   * Take regular revision breaks
   * Practice positive self-talk
   * Spend time outdoors
